3. What is involved in regard to Ascend Evaluation's grant writing consultation?
Ascend Evaluation recognizes that, while there are many grants available, many agencies and schools simply do not have the time to write them. Ascend Evaluation determines consulting costs on the size of the grant and the time needed to write it. In some situations, grant writing may be provided for free. Moreover, Ascend Evaluation has a low indirect rate that allows funding to be directed to what is most important: the grant project and its potential to improve lives.

4. How can Ascend Evaluation assist small agencies, school, and community-based inititiaves?
Ascend Evaluation is aware that smaller agencies and schools have limited resources, especially in regard to evaluation and grant writing. Social service agencies may be required to conduct client-based evaluations in regard to services and treatment outcomes, but they may need evaluation and statistical analyses assistance. The limited resources often seen in small agencies and schools also reduce their capacity to apply for grant funding despite the many grant funding resources focusing on small projects.  Ascend Evaluation is dedicated to building the evaluation and grant funding capacity of small agencies and schools to ensure their future success. As such, Ascend Evaluation does provide a free initial consultation for all clients and consultation fees are based on a sliding-scale in consideration of agency/school need versus agency/school resources.
